Type concept & character
A defined style, use cases and reference sheet, from hand-lettered script to geometric display face.
FFont Design Store
We turn hand lettering or a type concept into professional fonts with complete glyph sets, kerning and OpenType features, then package them with clear licence tiers for sale on Creative Market, Etsy or your own store.
The quick brown fox
The opportunity
Fonts are bought by designers, crafters, brands and app teams, and the same typeface can be licensed for different uses at different price points. Marketplaces like Creative Market and Etsy put fonts in front of active buyers, while your own store gives you more control. A professional font is more than attractive letters: it needs full character coverage, careful spacing and licences that make sense.
Desktop, web, app and commercial tiers serve different kinds of buyer.
A well-made typeface stays useful for years, across styles and trends.
Spacing, kerning and glyph coverage separate professional fonts from hobby files.

How it works
Choose a stage to see what happens there. The live engine alongside is the kind of system you end up with.
Style, audience & uses
We define the font’s personality, who will buy it and where it will be used, from wedding invitations to app interfaces.
Glyphs as clean vectors
Letterforms are drawn or traced from your lettering as clean vectors, then extended into a full, consistent character set.
Metrics, kerning & features
We set spacing and kerning pairs so words read evenly, then build OpenType features like ligatures and alternates.
Apps, browsers & languages
Fonts are installed and tested in design software, browsers and office apps, across sizes and every supported language.
Tiers, EULA & storefront
We write the licence tiers, prepare specimens and publish to your chosen marketplaces or store with automated delivery.

Examples & use cases
Illustrative scenarios based on the kinds of projects we deliver. Every result depends on the niche, the offer and the work put in.
A stationery designer’s hand lettering was in demand but impossible to scale by hand. We traced and refined it into a script font with swashes, ligatures and alternates, and listed it with clear licence tiers.
A coffee company wanted lettering no competitor could buy. We designed an exclusive display face in two weights, licensed for print, packaging, web and their ordering app.
A seller of social media templates wanted original fonts to pair with them. We produced a small font family and bundle, with a licence that covers buyers using the templates commercially.
FAQ
Still deciding? A strategist will answer anything else, honestly and without a sales script.
Ask us anythingMost font sellers separate desktop use (installing the font to make graphics and print), web use (embedding on websites), app use (embedding in software or games) and extended commercial use (products for resale, broadcast or large-scale branding). We write tiers and a EULA that match your goals and the marketplaces you sell on.
Usually yes, as long as you haven’t signed an exclusive agreement with one marketplace. Each platform has its own licence structure and listing rules, so we map your tiers to each one and keep the terms consistent.
Yes. You write a set of characters on a template we provide, and we trace, refine and space them into a working font. We often add alternates so repeated letters look natural, like real handwriting.
You own the font files and every right we can transfer. In some countries, including the US, letter shapes themselves aren’t protected by copyright, but font software is, which is why a clear EULA matters. Registering the font name as a trademark adds further protection.
A single-weight display or script font typically takes a few weeks, depending on glyph coverage and alternates. Multi-weight families and custom brand typefaces take longer, and we agree milestones up front.
