QAI Tool Business

Turn your AI idea into a real, billable product.

We design, build and launch your AI-powered tool with the parts that make it a business: accounts, billing and usage credits, prompt and model pipelines, guardrails and cost controls, so every request is useful, safe and accounted for.

The opportunity

Models are a commodity. The product around them isn’t.

Anyone can call a model API, which is why thin wrappers are easy to copy and hard to trust. The tools that last solve one painful job well, on top of the user’s own data and workflow, with pricing that covers what the models cost to run. That product layer is the part we build.

  1. 01
    Workflow over prompts

A tool built around a real job is harder to replace than a clever prompt.

  2. 02
    Costs you can see

Usage credits and per-request cost tracking tie pricing to real model spend.

  3. 03
    Model-agnostic by design

A provider layer lets you switch or mix models as prices and quality change.

What we build

Everything it takes, built for you.

Concrete deliverables, not vague promises. You own every one of them.

01

Product & use-case definition

One clear job to be done, the target user, the inputs and outputs, and what “good” looks like for every result.

02

Prompt & model pipeline

Versioned prompts, retrieval over your own data where needed, structured outputs and a provider layer that can swap models.

03

Accounts, billing & credits

Sign-up and login, Stripe subscriptions or one-off packs, and a usage-credit ledger that meters every generation.

04

Guardrails & safety

Input and output moderation, rate limits, abuse detection, prompt-injection defences and clear limits on what the tool will do.

05

Model-cost control

Per-user and per-request cost tracking, caching, model routing and spend caps, so a busy day never becomes a surprise bill.

06

Admin dashboard & analytics

Usage, credits, errors, feedback and cost per feature in one place, plus event analytics for activation and retention.

How it works

From first step to running system.

Choose a stage to see what happens there. The live engine alongside is the kind of system you end up with.

One job, clearly scoped

We pin down the single task the tool performs, who it is for and how we will judge a good output.

Examples & use cases

What it looks like in practice.

Illustrative scenarios based on the kinds of projects we deliver. Every result depends on the niche, the offer and the work put in.

Marketing copywriter01

A house style, packaged as a writing tool.

A copywriter had a tested framework for product descriptions and wanted to offer it beyond client work. We built a tool that follows the framework, adapts to each customer’s brand voice and sells generations through credit packs.

Compliance training firm02

Policy documents that answer questions, with sources.

A training provider wanted staff at client firms to ask questions of long policy documents. We built a retrieval-based assistant that cites the source paragraph for every answer and says so when it does not know.

eCommerce software team03

An AI feature added without a runaway bill.

A software team wanted AI-written product descriptions inside their existing app. We added the feature behind a usage-credit ledger, with model routing and spend caps so heavy use never runs up costs unnoticed.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Still deciding? A strategist will answer anything else, honestly and without a sales script.

Ask us anything
Isn’t an AI tool just a wrapper around ChatGPT?

Many are, and those are easy to copy. We build around one specific job, your data and workflow, structured outputs and a usable interface, so the value sits in the product rather than the prompt. If an idea is too thin to stand on its own, we say so before you spend on a build.

Who owns the code, prompts and data?

You do. The code lives in your repository, the prompts and evaluation sets are yours, and hosting, API keys and Stripe are set up in your name. Each model provider’s own terms still apply to how their API is used.

How do you handle model and API costs?

Model usage is billed by the provider to your account, so it is a running cost on top of the build. We track cost per request and per user, add caching, routing and spend caps, and design credit pricing so usage is paid for rather than absorbed.

What about wrong or harmful outputs?

AI models can be wrong or confidently invent things, and no setup removes that completely. We reduce it with evaluation sets, retrieval with citations, structured outputs and moderation, and we recommend human review wherever an output affects money, health, legal or hiring decisions.

Is my users’ data used to train the models?

We use provider settings that exclude your data from training where they are offered, store only what the product needs and give you retention and deletion controls. We help you draft a clear privacy policy, but legal sign-off, for example under GDPR, stays with you and your adviser.
