The opportunity
Pinterest is a visual search engine for people planning purchases.
People come to Pinterest to plan homes, outfits, recipes, trips, gifts and projects, often long before they buy. Pins are found through search and can keep surfacing for months, unlike posts that vanish from a feed in a day. Pair that with useful landing pages and transparent affiliate links, and you have a content channel built on intent.
- 01Search, not just scroll
Pins are discovered by keywords, boards and related ideas, much like a search engine.
- 02Planning-stage intent
Pinners are often researching what to make, try or buy next.
- 03Your own pages
Pins lead to pages you own, not just to someone else’s store.

Examples & use cases
What it looks like in practice.
Illustrative scenarios based on the kinds of projects we deliver. Every result depends on the niche, the offer and the work put in.
Helpful articles that finally got their own pins.
A blogger had dozens of useful posts but no Pinterest plan. We claimed the site, enabled Rich Pins and designed keyword-led pins for every post, with affiliate disclosures added across the blog.
A new affiliate site, built properly from day one.
A hiker wanted to recommend gear honestly. We built a small review site with comparison pages, set up affiliate programs within their rules and launched a seasonal pin calendar.
Pins that point to products you own.
A planner designer relied on marketplace search alone. Pins for each printable now lead to an owned landing page with a free sample and an email sign-up.
FAQ
Straight answers.
Still deciding? A strategist will answer anything else, honestly and without a sales script.
Ask us anythingAre affiliate links allowed on Pinterest?
Yes. Pinterest allows affiliate links as long as they are not hidden behind misleading redirects or used in spammy ways. Each affiliate program also has its own rules about where its links may appear, so we check those before anything is pinned.
Do I have to disclose affiliate links?
Yes. FTC guidance in the US, and similar rules elsewhere, require a clear disclosure wherever you earn from a recommendation. We add plain-language disclosures to pin descriptions and to every page that contains affiliate links.
Why build a blog or landing page instead of linking straight to products?
Some programs restrict direct links from social platforms, and a page you own lets you compare options, build an email list and keep your audience if a program changes. It also gives pinners a more useful click.
Can you use AI-generated images for pins?
We can, carefully. Pinterest may label images it detects as AI-generated or modified, and users can choose to see less of them, so we favour licensed photography, original graphics and real product images, using AI mainly for layouts and copy drafts.
How long before Pinterest sends traffic or commissions?
Pins often take time to be indexed and found, and results depend on niche, season and content quality. We never promise traffic or earnings, but we report honestly every month on saves, outbound clicks and what we are changing.
